The "CAT"

What is the CAT?

The CAT is a newsletter published monthly by the Yarmouth Neighborhood Crime Watch Team. It includes news of our activities, tips on safety, introductions to our Block Captains, upcoming events and other items relevant to Yarmouth Neighborhoods.

Why is it called the CAT?

The Yarmouth Police Community Advisory Team (YPCAT) is a steering committee that manages a group of outreach programs. Neighborhood Crime Watch is one of the YPCAT programs. The CAT includes news from all the YPCAT programs. In spite of our love of the YPD K-9's, we couldn't come up with a name that results in an acronym of DOG.
