We had a record turnout at our Block Captain’s meeting last night. Thanks to our speakers Chief Fredrickson, Officers Ambrosini and Geary, town administrator Dan Knapik and of course drug detection K9 Gauge who was a big hit. The next training session for the dog walkers is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Yarmouth Police Department. Feel free to bring your dog and all of our 4-legged graduates will receive a diploma and a one-of-a kind Yarmouth Dog Walkers Crime Watch blue bandanna which was specially designed by local graphic artist and Yarmouth resident Geoff Jumper and printed right here in West Yarmouth by Kaleidoscope Imprints.

Well an update to WordPress broke some of the custom features on the web site, particularly the ability to check your address to see if you are in a block, and our detailed block listing. Hope to have those back shortly.
The Thin Blue Line, Cape Cod Cares for our Cops has been cancelled for Dec. 31 DY 12:00- 2:00 due to a scheduling conflict. A new date has not been determined at this time.
Not sure if this is real, but there are several reports online of a new scam. You get a text message or email with a link. The message is that they have been paid to kill you, but want to spare you. They ask you to click on the link to be spared. However, the link is malware that downloads information from your phone or computer. See this Link. If you get this message, delete it, do not click on the link in the message or email.
