The Seaside Festival starts Saturday October 7, 2017 and runs through Monday, October 9. On Saturday, visit the Neighborhood Crime Watch team with the Yaroumth Police Department, and the Yarmouth Police Foundation. See the schedule at the Seaside Festival web site.
The next training session for Dog Walkers Crime Watch is scheduled for Monday, October 23, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Yarmouth Police Department. Feel free to bring your dog and all of our 4-legged graduates will receive a diploma and a one-of-a kind Yarmouth Dog Walkers Crime Watch blue bandanna which was specially designed by local graphic artist and Yarmouth resident Geoff Jumper and printed right here in West Yarmouth by Kaleidoscope Imprints.
The next Hazardous Waste day is on October 7, 2017 from 9:00 AM to noon at the Yarmouth Senior Center. This is a good time to clean out the garage.
We had a record turnout at our Block Captain’s meeting last night. Thanks to our speakers Chief Fredrickson, Officers Ambrosini and Geary, town administrator Dan Knapik and of course drug detection K9 Gauge who was a big hit.
